1.What is the King Moulding?

2.What is the typical process of a new project?
It usually begins with a 3D file, a drawing (anywhere from a fully dimensioned, computer generated one to a penciled napkin), or a prototype. If the project is approved, we ask for an initial investment of 40% of the mold cost to cover material costs, and the building begins. When the mold is completed, we will produce a sample run of parts out of it, we'll ask another 30% payment when you got the sample. And when parts are approved, the mould checked ok, the remaining 30% payment of the mold is made before the shipment.

3.How do I know the mould we buy will work well?
We'll take you the mould testing video when we made the trial, you can check the movement, the structure running of the mould. And we'll send you the sample for check until to your agreement.
For the newly built mould, we suggest that the first production to be made at our factory's for safe. Actually mould trial is different from long time production.

4.What's the warranty of the mould?
The warranty of the mould is different according to the different steel material we choose and different heat treatment. Because the hardness of the mould is different.

5.What material should I use?
There are almost 100,000 materials in the marketplace today, so it can be very overwhelming, but if we can learn about your application, for instance, will the part be outside? What kind of abuse will it need to withstand? We can often recommend grades that are readily available, and less expensive. Below is some of the steel normally use: Buderus 1.2738(Germany), Daido NAK80 and NAK555(Japan), IMPAX718H(Sweden), LKM 738H(Dongguan), LKM2344(Dongguan), P20HH(USA), P20LQ(USA), LKM 2311(Dongguan), LKM2312(Dongguan), etc.

6.What is involved in injection mold preventive maintenance?
All molds have moving pins and other moving component in them to eject the part out. We provide lifetime maintenance of these at no additional cost on all of our customer molds.

7. How much does a mold cost?
varying greatly on complexity, quality, and size, a mold can cost anywhere from $1,000-$3,000 for a simple mold, up to $60,000-$100,000 or more for a high production, multi- cavity mold made with hardened tool steel. Typically, the molds we are in the $3,000 -$80,000 range.

8.What type of file can you adopt?
King Mould can accept different types of files such as IGES, DXF, DWG, STP, PRT, X_T, PDF, etc.

9.Do you sign confidentiality agreemnet?
King Mould understand the importance of confidentiality. We have the policy to comply with confidentiality agreements. We won't leak and information regarding your product or you company to the third party and any copy would be prohibited.

10.What and how to pack and ship the mould?
When the mould have been completed, we will paint grease on the surface, pack the mould with plastic pellicle, and put it into a disinfected wooden box.
